CrossPoint Fellowship is a worship gathering that is intent on inviting friends, family, and neighbors to immerse themselves in the story of Jesus Christ. It has sprung from the idea that worship needs to be a "5 Sense Experience," engaging the whole of our thoughts, the whole of our bodies, and the whole of our emotions. CrossPoint strives to celebrate that God has made us "good," and wants us to worship with our whole beings. The type of worship practiced at our gatherings can be summed up in one word, "Pause." Too much of our lives is spent running from one conversation to another, from one task to the next, and to an endless supply of "events." For many people, there is no time to savor or soak up the wonders of life. As Christians, we believe that the difficulty we have slowing down is a great tragedy - because it is often through our pauses that God speaks to our hearts. CrossPoint, therefore, encourages participants to bask in the quietness of God's presence; to listen, to love, and to be changed. Our gatherings are not fast, they are deliberatly slow and gentle. If you've ever hoped for a calm setting to get to know who Jesus is, CrossPoint may be for you.
