During this season the Church muses over some of the great themes of faith, and how they can impact the way we live our lives. Come and join us on this journey of discovery.

September Benevolence: Eastern University - Eastern University is a Christian university dedicated to the preparation of undergraduate, theological and graduate students for thoughtful and productive lives of Christian faith, leadership and service. The mission is confirmed and celebrated when graduates believe their way into knowledgeable action that influences their world in substantive ways. http://www.eastern.edu

Women’s Friendship Group will be meeting on Wednesday, 7:15pm at the church in the Sunday School Auditorium.  Karen Merrill will be leading the devotion. All women are welcome.

Volunteer Chaplain Aides are needed at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. There are openings for trained lay visitors every day of the week. Following a training and orientation process, an Aide may donate two to four hours each week to visit patients, offering them friendship and spiritual comfort. Training sessions will be held on October 28 and 30, 2013. Please see the bulletin board for more information.

Pulpit Flowers - The Pulpit Flowers this Sunday are given by Charlie Smith, in loving memory of Janet Smith, on the Anniversary of her birth.
