The Saga Continues

We all need a hug.

We all need a hug.

This week New Jersey extended our social distancing guidelines until May 15. In response, Central’s Church Council has extended our building closure through that date. This is a difficult time for all of us, and any extension of this time of near isolation is difficult for us all, but let’s continue to stay healthy, be wise, and live with grace. Jesus’ disciples have a mission, even now, and in this season the best way for us to do that is to stay home as much as possible.

Until we are able to come back together, please keep some things in mind.

Video Archive

We are continuing to live stream “Central Mornings” through Facebook live on Sunday Mornings. Please note, you do not need to be on Facebook to see these streams. Links to our most current stream, as well as an archive of our previous streams, can be found on our website’s streaming library.

I’ll also be adding more converstaions with pastors and local leaders in the near future.

Request a visit

If you would like to see someone with your own eyes, please request a “drive-by visit!” You can find a request form on our website.

Please note, drive-by visit requests to addresses in Florida cannot be honored at this time.

Stay Connected

Please, keep calling each other and checking to see how folks are doing. Phone calls, texts, Facebook messages, and whatever other form of communication people enjoy are essential for our well-being in this time. Also, do not be shy about making our church family know about physical needs which aren’t being met. If we can help meet them, we will. If you know of an unmet need we might be able to fulfill, feel free to use our website to let us know.

Share Your Stories

Finally, I have a favor to ask. If you’re doing something to pass this time, which you find is helping you cope, would share your story with me? I’d love to hear what everyeone has been up to, and perhaps your stories can give folks ideas and open up some new avenues of health and well-being for others.

And please remember. You are loved, and you are cherished. We’re all going to get through this.
