Call to Worship - Psalm 40:1-11
Hymn of Praise: #8 “Come, Thou, Almighty King”
Verse 1
Come Thou Almighty King
Help us Thy name to sing
Help us to praise
Father all glorious
O'er all victorious
Come and reign over us
Ancient of Days
Verse 2
Come Thou Incarnate Word
Gird on Thy mighty sword
Our prayer attend
Come and Thy people bless
And give Thy Word success
Spirit of holiness
On us descend
Verse 3
Come Holy Comforter
Thy sacred witness bear
In this glad hour
Thou who almighty art
Now rule in ev'ry heart
And ne'er from us depart
Spirit of pow'r
Verse 4
To Thee great One in Three
Eternal praises be
Hence evermore
Thy sov'reign majesty
May we in glory see
And to eternity
Love and adore

Hymn of Invitation: #427 “People of God”
Verse 1
With our lips
Let us sing one confession
With our hearts
Hold to one truth alone
For He has erased our transgression
Claimed us and called us
His own His very own
Chorus
We're the people of God
Called by His name
Called from the dark
And delivered from shame
One holy race saints ev'ryone
Because of the blood
Of Christ Jesus the Son

Ensure that people are able to choose how to live
Ensure that people are able to influence the decisions that affect their lives
Ensure that women and girls are equally able as men and boys to choose where to live, how to live, and how they are governed
Ensure that marginalized groups are equally able as the dominant group to choose where to live, how to live, and how they are governed
