TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH AT 7:30 PM.

Rehearsal will be in-person and open to all who would like to come and sing whether or not you can be with us on Sundays. We will be preparing anthems to use as our Virtual Choir songs as well as anthems to sing live on a specific Sunday.

Masks will be needed for rehearsals, some singer's masks have been purchased for you, and vaccinations are required. It's been a LONG time and I'm looking forward to singing with you!

The Virtual Choir

The Virtual Choir was formed by Karren Merrill to enable us to continue singing together during the Covid-19 Pandemic and add those choral pieces to our worship experience. As we are a small group Karren added some who were not part of our congregation and it worked out well, so please feel free to join us virtually or in person. Music and recordings of each part were handed to participants to make learning the pieces easier for them. Each participant video-recorded themselves and then sent back their recordings through a google form that was provided. Someone at Central Baptist mixed the recordings for us and created the final video.

We are excited to open our Virtual Choir to even more of the community now that we will be resuming in-person rehearsals, but also planning to have each of the participants record themselves at home. This way anyone who wants to be involved, but is not able to be in-person on Sunday mornings, will be able to do so. We will also be scheduling some Sundays for in-person singing for anyone who is able to be there.

If this is something you would be interested in doing, we’d love to add your voice to our Virtual Choir! To join the Virtual Choir or for any questions please e-mail Karren Merrill using the form below.
